Lumbar support for stabilisation and relief through additional supporting elements

The protect.Lumbaforte is a lumbar support. The product is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting of the lower back and only on intact skin. 

Mode of action

• Stabilisation of the lumbar spine and lumbosacral junction via four dorsally integrated stabilizing rods
• Correction of lordosis of the lumbar spine via proprioceptive compression of the abdominal area
• The compressive knitted fabric can improve proprioception. The improvement in proprioception supports the body's own stabilisation.

Intended purpose

• Support for stabilisation of the lumbar spine. 

Indications
All indications requiring stabilisation of the lumbar spine such as:

• Lower back pain (lumbago)
• Muscular insufficiency
• Painful conditions of the lumbosacral junction
