MEDI Epibrace brace Epicondylitis strap

MEDI Epibrace is an epicondylitis brace for load relief on the muscle origins. The pressure on the forearm can be individually dosed with the numbered strap. The flexible pad on the epicondylitis brace also adds to the customisable wearing comfort, in that it can be used universally. The special feature: the pad is easily removable and thus provides reliable support for both right- and left-sided golfer's or tennis elbow.

Adjusting and donning the brace, often called an epicondylitis strap, are also effortless thanks to the clever design.

MEDI Epibrace can be used for epicondylopathia humeri radialis (tennis elbow) or for epicondylopathia humeri ulnaris (golfer's elbow):

• the epicondylitis strap provides load relief on the muscle origins in the region of the ulna (ulnar epicondyle) and over the outer part of the elbow joint,
• the radius (radial epicondyle).

The overstressed muscle origins are noticeably relieved by the pad exerting pressure below the elbow joint on the muscle bellies of the extensors and/or flexors. This can reduce pain on movement.

Thanks to the soft border, the brace is gentle on the skin and does not dig in. The securing strap makes the epicondylitis brace even easier to handle and it is possible to also put it on using only one hand.

Indications
All indications where it is necessary to relieve muscle origins at the ulnar and / or radial epicondyle, such as:

• Epicondylitis (e.g. tennis or golfer‘s elbow)

Contraindications

• Impingement syndrome (pressure irritation of the nerves supplying the arm)
