Arm sling
The arm sling stabilizes and supports the hand when a plaster cast is necessary, as well as after the dressing is removed. The shoulder strap regulates the height at which the limb should be supported. The support belt is wide enough to distribute the weight of the hand proportionally over the full length of the back.
Intended use of the upper limb sling:
- partial damage to the ligaments of the shoulder joint, acromioclavicular joint, and elbow joint
- paresis of the upper limb
-
conservative or postoperative treatment
